Bog moss

A mossy plant organism, saturated with water, and without roots, which is at the origin of bog moss formation. Peat mosses grow rapidly, continued at their extremities even whilst they die at the base, thus accumulating in this way the organic matter that constitutes bog. Peat moss can stock up to 90% of its weight in water.
